This policy describes how Holík Labs s.r.o. processes personal data in connection with the holiklabs.com website and your communication with us, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

What data we process
The holiklabs.com website has no forms and requires no registration. We only process:
- Communication with us: the data you give us in an e-mail (typically your name, e-mail address and the content of your message).
- Technical access records: when you view the website, the server records your IP address, the time and the page requested.
Why we process the data and on what legal basis
We use data from e-mails only to reply to you, or to prepare an offer or perform a contract you asked for. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request or performing it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you sent us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical access records serve only to keep the website running and secure (legitimate interest). We do not use the data for marketing, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
How long we keep the data
Communication for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry and then for no more than 2 years from our last exchange. If a contractual relationship arises between us, we keep the data for its duration and for the period required by law (e.g. accounting and tax rules). Technical access records only as long as necessary to keep the website running and secure.
Who has access to the data
We run the website, e-mail and our request handling system on our own servers. Only our staff who handle your enquiry have access to the data. We do not sell the data, do not pass it on to third parties and do not transfer it outside the European Union.
Cookies and third-party services
The website uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no third-party services.
Mobile and other apps
If we publish an app that processes personal data, that processing is described in the app's own privacy policy, linked from its listing in the app store.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to us at contact@holiklabs.com.
If you believe we process your data in breach of the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, uoou.gov.cz, or with the supervisory authority in your EU country.
This policy is effective from 25 October 2026.
